The VH4 was my dream amp since 2005. I recently purchased VH2 and hooked it up to a pedalboard in a 4CM. Did not enjoy the sound.. sounded BOOMY. Then, I disconnected everything and go straight to my amp, 0 pedals and it sounds INCREDIBLE. This is an unbelievable amp, doesn't need any pedals. Just a good understanding of tone and volume knobs, and messing with the amp controls.
wenn du das liest peter würde ich dir ein riesen Dank aussprechen : du hast den sound von vielen bands geprägt besonders von metallica das st anger album ist wirklich wunderbar vom sound und live benutze james auch den diezel vh4 ein hammer amp meiner meinung nach legendär kannst du was erzählen von dem verkauf von den verstärkern an metallica ? gibts da ne lustige geschichte dazu der amp klingt so gut das ist unfassbar Danke

And to me fender sounds like he'll. To me Marshall plexis sound like weak, bumpy, smooth, mid oriented, no bass, tinny, and like 1968 music. I like Clapton, I like Van Halen and Jeff Beck. Bit to me, there is a whole world beyond 1980s hard rock. This amp is for metal, and extreme metal. And also does versions of Clapton, Beck Van Halen, Extreme , Marshall 1959 super lead. Even Van Halen advanced and improved his tone since 1978. He did 5150s. He did the Stealth with 3 channels with fender. He made better sounding guitars later after the original Frankenstrat. He said even the $25,000 replicas sounded better. He made guitars with 3 guitar companies after 1978. This Diezel is a high performance state of the art high gain amp. It does tons of things a Two Rock and Fender and Marshall can't do.i like those 3camos two. Bit I like currentvhighbgain amps, too. I have a Herbert M2 amp and I love it. And even if I get the new VHX I'm going to keep the herbert. Because it's great, too, for my tastes What are your preferred amos, and tastes in amps? Something smoother?

Sounds great! (1:05 Interesting bridge pickup placement angle. It results loose low end which would be counterproductive at least for me.)

I own one of these, and feel its the perfect Diezel amp for me. I wanted a Herbert, but just concluded it was too expensive and overpowered for my needs. Enter the D-Moll, which is right in my wheelhouse. It's more affordable and has all of the features I wanted from the Herbert! Thank you for making the versatile beast that is the D-Moll.

How does it perform at low volume for recording?
Very nice to see a seasoned player show off some Classic Rock licks on ch 2 & 3. Its beautiful hearin Adam and Het play it but the Ac/Dc riffs on an LP just sound PERFECT! I feel its the sweet spot. Thank you both for bein so cool when I’ve popped by at NAMM years back. Truly humble guys.

This video is decent but I wish there were more good demos of this amp on UA-cam with a variety of players and styles (most of the videos other than this one are with below average players or low recording quality). Perhaps Diezel could lend one out to some UA-camrs in Europe? I am sure a lot of people sick of modellers want to bite the bullet but there just isn’t enough out there for those interested in purchasing internationally

i have not owned a diezel amp, but i own and love the UAD VH4 plugin and it’s the high gain sound i have always dreamed of, ever since hearing the guitar sound on ænima. thank you for making such incredible amplifiers!
This is why I prefer modern channel-switching high gain amps. They are often DESIGNED to give great tone at any volume and don’t even need an attenuator

I find the German language absolutely fascinating. "German... German... German... German... German... high and low sensitivity... German... German... German..." Why is there not a German phrase for "high and low sensitivity"?
???? Question....What ever happened to the VH mini that was supposed to come out like 2 or 3 years ago? I read over a year ago that there were issues with parts and the IR loader but they would be filling orders on a first come basis.... I can't even find out how to order one in the USA.

The Herbert is my absolute Dream Amp, but i‘m an „Livingroom Player“. I would play mainly about an Two Notes Captor X and i‘am a little bit scared, because the 100w of the Two Notes and the 200w Peak Herbert. Does anyone have any experience with that Setup?? Kind regards from Ruhrgebiet Area, DE 🍻
